Dr. Roderick C. French

With over two decades of experience in the U.S. Marine Corps, Roderick French has acquired insight into the important interplay of psychology, leadership, and management. His experiences as well as his desire to learn inspired him to pursue, upon retiring from the Marine Corps, Roderick, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in management, and Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and Change.
His desire for academic excellence and managerial efficiency made him a logical choice for the Presidential Management Fellow (PMF) in May 2001. During his tenure as a PMF, French was not only employed in a managerial position with the Navy but also taught Organizational Behavior at the Naval Postgraduate School. In his current capacity as Director of Total Force Manpower for the Office of Naval Research, French purposefully leverages and manages resources and people to efficiently reach desired objectives.
Dr. French is a graduate of George Mason University Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being. Dr. French's mission in life is to help leaders be more successful and happier, using the quickest, most efficient path possible. My focus is to ensure that clients experience amazing improvements in their productivity, time management, motivation, leadership skills, flexibility, goal attainment, creativity, stress reduction, and work-life balance.
Dr. French is also an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University, University of Virginia, and Webster University where he teaches Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Transformational Leadership, Supply Change Management, and Performance Management.
